I’ve recently started adding the copyright symbol to my photos in an attempt to ward off people from stealing them, which in my opinion, is very distracting to the image. I thought there had to be a way to share them via SmugMug (where they are protected without the watermark), but I wasn’t quite sure how to do it and never really spent the time trying to figure it out.
As it stands, there is a Share button at the bottom of each image in SmugMug; however, it has the Facebook logo on it, so I never selected it knowing that I didn’t want to post my images there.
Ok, I may sound like the biggest nitwit right now, but I went ahead and clicked on it just a moment ago and wouldn’t ya know it, there is an option to share with WordPress. OMGosh… How ridiculous is that? Oh well, at least I can laugh at myself!
Now I just need to “Post to WordPress”; crossing my fingers that it works the way I imagine it will. If it does, I hope this information will be beneficial to someone else that may have wondered how to do the same. 🙂
