My Lily of the Valley are in bloom and I’m happy they survived the recent frosts!
These flowers have a special meaning to me because my Mom gave me a bunch from one of the two homes I grew up in–the second home to be exact; 14 to 18 years of age. I was raised in Michigan from age one (born in Germany) until I moved to Ohio at age 23.
Although different, they remind me of the flowers my Mom had at our first home; also given to her by her Mom and from the home she grew up in, which happened to be in Maryland. (Just tried calling her to find out the type and there was no answer.)
I like the idea of handing down flowers/bulbs from generation to generation and hope that Lexi will like a bunch of these when she moves away from home. 🙂
Have a great weekend, y’all!
