I typically don’t post more than once a day, but decided to go ahead and do it because I think I need to take a short hiatus from photography; at least for the rest of the week anyway.
Can you guess who this is? In case you didn’t already know, it is another picture of my lovely daughter, and she was extremely excited this morning as it happened to be the day we were going to go get her very first flute.
In a little over two-weeks, she will start learning how to play this instrument by being a part of Mason Intermediate’s Band. She couldn’t be happier but is bummed at the same time. She asked the lady at the music store if she could show her how to put it together and she said, “No.”—Apparently the schools around here don’t want sales personnel doing this because it will lead to the students playing with their instrument before the first day of school, and they don’t want to deal with breaking bad habits.
With that said, it is a bummer, but it’s more important for her to learn it right the first time. 🙂
