So here is another image from vacation. I am not sure what the deal is, but pretty much all of my pictures look blurry when viewed at 100%. What on earth is up with that nonsense? As stated in a previous post, I was having technical—but most likely operator—difficulties with manual settings, which I find bizarre since I feel I was doing fairly good there for a while.

Would someone please shed some light on this for me? I experimented more with sun flares and spent quite a bit of time using smaller apertures because I wanted more depth of field as well. Is that part of the problem? Is f/22 a setting that’s best to avoid with this shot in particular? I guess that since the wind was blowing a little, maybe 1/50 sec was too slow? I think I used a tripod here and I was in aperture priority.

I’m so confused that I don’t even know what questions to ask or what assumptions to make… Hahaha!
