I’m still working on my Hot Springs post so I thought I would go ahead and upload an image that I took of my husband while exploring Ouachita National Forest.

This is Lake Ouachita (pronounced WAH-shi-tah) and it’s a big, beautiful lake—actually the largest in Arkansas—which was created when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers built the Blakely Mountain Dam. Check out this and this if you’re interested in more information.

I like how my not-so little husband looks miniscule compared to the lake; a good representation of scale if you ask me. Fall colors were actually at their peak during this time, but I prefer the tones I ended up with when post processing—desaturated and a little yellow, which makes it somewhat dreamy to me. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by and Happy “Hump” Day! 🙂
