The originals of these two images were ridiculously ridiculous until I played around with them in Camera Raw yesterday. To give you an idea of how bad they were, imagine hand-holding a camera in an extremely low light atmosphere without using the flash—’nuff said.

Anyway, to get this artistic effect, all I really did was bump up the clarity and luminance to 100%.

I think these images would look cool in a bar. đŸ™‚

I took a pretty lame picture on my iPhone the other day and thought I would experiment with layers today.

I’m not sure why the file size is so small but assume it has to do with the fact that the image came off of my cell… Or does it have to do with the way I saved it? Anyway, I can’t attach more than one picture at a time when sharing via SmugMug so I will add the original to this post in just a few.

Okay, here’s the original…

I think the end result is kind of cool. What do you think? đŸ™‚

I was messing around in Photoshop a while back and forgot to post this image from our Mexico trip.

The quality was really bad so I attempted to make something better out of it.

What do you think?

Here’s another image from “Millionaire’s Row” on Dayton Street in Cincinnati, OH. It’s not tack-sharp, but I still like it; particularly my end result with split toning—€”this was the first time I every played around with that.

My dad is coming here for a visit this weekend and upon his suggestion, we (my husband included) plan to go downtown to walk around, take pics, etc. He said he really likes my architectural images and I think it’s sweet that he wants to spend time with me while doing something I love, which is obviously photography.

The architectural aspect of photography is new for me and I look forward to seeing what I capture. I also plan to suggest that we all take pictures since I have enough cameras; one for each of us. đŸ™‚

Happy Friday and I hope y’all have a great weekend!

I’m not going to give it away, but I did something with this image using Photoshop; it was my first time ever.

Can you figure out what I did? What do you think of the overall look?
