I am SO excited about these pictures I can hardly stand it. I had every intention of waiting until tomorrow to post this, but oops… It’s a done deal now 😉
I know I’ve gotten somewhat out of control with this whole Bokeh-licious series, but WOW, it has been a ton of fun and I’m thrilled that I learned new techniques thanks to the awesome bloggers that follow mine. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I’ve been reading a little bit about zooming in and out while taking a picture and thought I’d go ahead and apply it to the Christmas lights I am currently fixated on; I decided to add some color this time around as well.
I heart these pictures! Hahaha… Did you notice the heart in the last pic?
It was my lovely daughter who decided to place the lights in a heart shape… Because she “loves” me. SO SWEET!

Really nice job. I’ve been reading your series of bokeh-licious posts and I like this one’s images the best. It pushed me to pull out my camera again and take some more holiday shots of the tree, lights, and decorations. My zooms didn’t turn out quite like these, but I think you are using larger lights on your tree than the lights I have (a pre-lit tree). Your lights look like the kind my parents used for the *real* tree we used to have when I was a little girl living in Montana.

Thank you, Becky! I actually have a pre-lit tree as well… With the little lights 🙂
